Man Cave MakeOver {Renton General Contractor}

Who doesn't love a good garage makeover? Here's is a fun one we did on a buddy's garage recently. As you can see in the before shot there was no walls, and your standard concert floor. Boring! The TLC Handy Solutions team sheet-rocked all the walls in, put some nice baseboards, and painted the walls and doors to match the new race style floor. The perfect hang out for the guys when the wife kicks us out. :)

Among the ashes {home remodel, Auburn General Contractor}

The last few months have kept the guys of TLC Handy Solution's out of the rain, but in the ashes of a fire. The ashes, that is, of this little 1912 Auburn home that experienced a pretty nasty electrical fire just last year. The home was in need of a face lift regardless, so not only did we repair fire damage, but the home was completely flipped. Among the ashes we restored this 1900's charmer into a livable, safe, and beautifully modern home. Some of the many projects included; a full electrical rewire of the home, making it not only making it safe from another fire, but bringing it up to today's electrical code. We also restored the attic, where a lot of the major structure damage took place around the roof. Then the rest of the home got new hardwood, wall to wall carpet, paint, mill work, double pain windows, title, and wallpaper.

 Then came the stairs. Notice the light switch? New wire in the house all up to code and safe. We also got rid of that little single pain window on the stair level.

Most these walls were restructured as well.

 

The mud room got a new utility sink and fresh paint

 

In the bathroom we painted, replaced the floor and added tile. We also fixed the roof above that suffered a lot of damage from the fire. Which you will see below.

NEW YEAR - Time to get Inspired

Happy New Year. 

We at TLC Handy Solutions enjoyed a wonderful break and spent it with our families. Now its back to business. Let's start 2013 out right.
